Pastor Tyrone Sharpe, Sr. is the Founder and Pastor of New Life Family Bible Church in
Newark, New Jersey. He is an anointed, powerful, gifted teacher and preacher with a
simplistic approach to expounding on God’s Holy Word. In addition to pastoring in the
city of Newark, NJ he is also a traveling evangelist throughout the country.

He is a native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He accepted Jesus Christ into his life in
1979. He received his Biblical teaching at New Life Church under the late Pastor David
Jones and has a certificate from the Billy Graham School of Evangelism. He received his
ordination as a Pastor in 1982. In 1984, he started a home bible study group, which has
evolved into what is now New Life Family Bible Church.

Pastor and First Lady Rose Sharpe were married in 1981 and have been together for
Thirty-two (39) years and counting. Of this union, the Lord has blessed them with two
wonderful sons: Tyrone Sharpe Jr. and Steven Sharpe.
